Mahmoud Nasser Abu Watfa is 30 years old and married to Sabreen (25). Their young son Nasser was born amidst the war and destruction and was deprived of a normal childhood.

Before the war, Mahmoud worked as a foreman in a marble and stone production company and his wife studied at the university, in the field of medical analysis. Their family home was partially destroyed, his company was destroyed and they lived in a displacement camp in Khan Yunis for over a year, enduring the horrors of bombardment, famine and death.

After the ceasefire in January, they traveled back home to Northern Gaza and now live in their badly damaged apartment together with several other family members. Northern Gaza is a wasteland and the family need urgent funds to rebuild their life and survive from day to day.

Uday Muhammad Ibrahim Abu Shab (25) lived in the city of Bani Suhaila in southern Gaza before the war broke out. He worked in a car wash and shared a house with his father Muhammad, his mother Adla and his three siblings Louie, Maher and Yasmine.

The family was displaced 4 times and lived most of 2024 in a make-shift tent in the Al Mawasi area of Khan Yunis, suffering under the harsh conditions and relentless bombings.

They are now back in Bani Suheila, but their house is badly damaged and they require funds for repairs, food, medicine and other daily needs.

Diaa Nasser Mohamed Abu Watfa is a 35 year old lawyer. His wife, Alaa Samir Abu Watfa, is a doctor of medicine and laboratory. They have been married for 10 years and have four children, one of whom was born in the war:

Malak (9), Hala (7), Hanin (5), Joud (90 days).

Diaa's father, mother and his two brothers also live with them. In the first days of the war, Diaa's little brother Ibrahim (19) was injured and became paralyzed. He is in a wheelchair and needs costly daily care.

Like so many others the family lost their home to Israeli bombing and had to live a harsh life in a displacement camp in Khan Yunis for over a year. They are now back in Northern Gaza, where they want to rebuild their destroyed home.

They require funds for daily survival, for medicine, a new wheelchair, kitchen utensils and to clear the rubble of their home.

Karim Khalifa is a 18 year old student from Gaza. He is in a displacement camp in Khan Yunis, with his parents Eyad and Samar, older brother Ahmed and sisters Hla and Tia, living under the harshest conditions.

Before the war Kareem lived a peaceful life in Rafah. He wanted to attend university and become a doctor, but his education was cut short by the terrible war. His brother Ahmed was studying at Al-Azhar University as a software engineer, but his dream of graduating and opening his own business was also destroyed.

In Rafah their home was bombed and the familie was forced to flee to Khan Yunis, where they have lived in tent camps since. There have been constant bombing and on several occasions Kareem thought he would lose his life.

Kareem recently lost his beloved grandmother due to the war and the constant fear, the loss and the destruction have made every day a battle for survival for the family.

Donations to Kareem will help him complete his education (online courses) and secure shelter, food, water, and daily necessities for his family.
